The Golden State Pooled Trust

THE GSPT TEAM
The Golden State Pooled Trust provides federal safe harbor trust for disabled individuals in California. It allows them to unitize their Medi-Cal and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.

 
Our management team is comprised of three components:

    *  Non profit;

    *  Trustee Services; and
 
    *  Investment Services


Non profit:


North Bay Housing Coalition (NBHC) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding choices and options for person with disabilities throughout California.

NBHC established the Golden State Pooled Trust in 2004 and is responsible for its management and oversight.  NBHC delegates responsibility for the trust management to Stephen W. Dale, Esq.


Mary Eble, Executive Director of both the North Bay Housing Coalition and GSPT, administers and oversees all services.  In addition, she manages the MCLE continuing education documentation.  Mary has an extensive understanding of affordable housing issues and opportunities. Mary has a Masters degree in Social Work from University of Texas at Austin. She is committed to assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to create unique living arrangements that not only meets their needs, but their dreams as well.


Trustee Services:

Stephen W. Dale, Esq., LL.M, Trustee oversees the day-to-day operations of GSPT, reviews and authorizes disbursements and directs investments under the supervision of the Wells Fargo Advisement team.  In addition, Mr. Dale coordinates GSPT's educational component and advises referring attorneys in counseling their clients.


Shelley Sunseri, Distribution Coordinator for GSPT assists in preparing joinder agreements and related documents to assist beneficiaries and their advisors interested in joining GSPT.  In addition, she reviews distribution requests and coordinates disbursements for each individual account.

 
Theresa A. Dale, JD,  Program Administrator for GSPT oversees the administration of billing, budgeting and compliance with policies and procedures.


Investment Services:

Richard S. Groscost and
Chad Worozaken of Wells Fargo Investments serve as the Investment Advisors for each of the individual accounts.  They also coordinate with the beneficiary advocates regarding long and short term needs of the beneficiary and design a portfolio specific to those needs.
